Many of our customers may not realize that blu eCigs does all of its R&D and product design here in the USA in the heart of Silicon Valley. We wanted to give you an inside look at our engineering team and hear from them about what puts blu eCigs above the rest of the industry. There are a lot of different things that set us apart from the rest of the industry, and the industry is not a monolith. There are some big companies competing against us, as well as a lot of smaller companies. We do all the engineering to make sure that things are perfect, that things are going to be -- are going to perform as expected; that they're properly engineered, that they will last, they’re robust, and they meet the consumer needs.

Unlike some companies, our Quality Control is a closed-loop system. So when products are returned to us from our mail, from the Customer Service people, we do take a look at pretty detailed, we take things apart and look at it, and when we find any shortcomings, we feed that into future testings, so we make sure that we test for those weaknesses.

What we've seen with the other manufacturers, they kind of just take existing products from, you know, other manufacturers, kind of dress it up, make it look a little nicer, versus blu, we really do take the extra step and find out from our customers what they believe is lacking from our product and try to implement those. A lot of companies, you know, they will outsource their design, and outside of the US they do a pretty good job at designing these things, but the US will always be the place to get things designed.

There's a lot of knock-offs and gimmicks on the market, things that are kind of made very inexpensively, and low cost. Whereas I feel that blu is more than a brand but it is also a very high-end device that is very research driven.

So for me, the best technology is where -- one that really meets the consumer’s needs, but they're not thinking about the technology, it just works. I think that's the essence that I want captured; is we're developing technology that, from a consumer’s perspective, just works, and that's a clear differentiators from that other group of competitors that we have. I think that the vision is that we can get the technology so good, but also so in service of the consumer that they don't think about it.
